MeeDerby Candidate Spotlight – Chief Nursing Officer – Kansas City

We are currently working with a Chief Nursing Officer and healthcare staffing executive based in Kansas City who could be a strong addition to the leadership team of a healthcare staffing organization.

She has deep experience leading the clinical infrastructure that allows a staffing business to operate compliantly, protect client relationships, mitigate risk, and scale across multiple states. Her executive scope spans clinical governance, regulatory compliance, quality, credentialing, onboarding, risk management, accreditation readiness, and clinical escalations. Beyond internal leadership, she can serve as the clinical face of the organization—representing the staffing agency at industry events, building credibility with healthcare leaders, and participating in quarterly business reviews with external stakeholders to strengthen strategic client partnerships.

– Provides enterprise clinical oversight for 300+ nurses per month across a 35-state footprint.
– Successfully helped lead 2 Joint Commission surveys and 2 Joint Commission Intra-Cycle surveys.
– Partners with external stakeholders in healthcare clients including CNOs, clinical managers, and executives to align clinical standards, workforce strategy, and operational priorities.
– Leads executive-level quality, compliance, and risk reporting, translating trends into actionable priorities for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
– Combines clinical leadership with a strong business and operational orientation, including P&L exposure. Prior to entering healthcare staffing, she helped double revenue as the Director of Nursing of a surgery center through operational improvement, growth execution, and alignment of clinical and business priorities.

If strengthening the clinical leadership function is on your radar, contact Alexandria Hills for additional details or to coordinate an introduction.
