Robin Mee Sells MeeDerby to Longtime Leaders Kim Whiteley and Sue Jagan, Marking a New Chapter for the Premier Executive Search Firm in the Staffing Industry
Cabin John, MD — March 19, 2026 — Robin Mee, Founder of MeeDerby, the leading executive search firm dedicated exclusively to the staffing and workforce solutions industry, today announced the sale of the company to Kim Whiteley and Sue Jagan. The transition marks a significant milestone as MeeDerby enters its next phase of growth under new leadership.
Founded in 1988, MeeDerby has built a reputation over nearly four decades as the premier executive search partner for staffing and workforce solutions firms across North America. The firm has played a pivotal role in shaping C-suite and management teams by identifying top leadership talent across the industry and has been recognized 16 times as a Best of Staffing® award winner for excellence in client service.
Mee currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Staffing Association and was inducted into the Staffing Industry Analysts Hall of Fame in 2024.
Whiteley and Jagan—both highly respected leaders with deep experience in executive search and the staffing industry—will assume ownership and leadership of MeeDerby. Whiteley, now Chief Executive Officer, has been with the firm for 19 years, and Jagan, now President, has been with MeeDerby for more than eight years. Their combined expertise and longstanding industry relationships, along with the strength and dedication of the entire MeeDerby team, position the firm for continued expansion and innovation.
