The figures show that Women of color make 52-60 cents per dollar made by a white non-hispanic man.
“These lower wages, in turn, have implications both in the short term and the long term as women attempt to reach and maintain financial security in their golden years.” In this case, golden years is defined as the period of retirement, after the age of 65.
