Cabin John, MD, January 8th, 2024– MeeDerby is pleased to announce the promotions of Kim Whiteley to President, Eliza Deang to Chief of Staff, Sue Jagan to Associate Director and Executive Recruiter, Kamille Chilcutt to Executive Recruiter and welcomes Lauren Fenech to the team. Robin Mee, Founder will continue with the firm in a Chief Executive role.
“There are many exciting changes at MeeDerby and I am thrilled to announce Kim Whiteley’s new role as President of the company,” said MeeDerby’s new CEO, Robin Mee. “Kim is a staffing industry executive, influencer and thought leader who has been managing much of MeeDerby for several years. I am confident that, under Kim’s leadership, that MeeDerby will continue to thrive and grow along with the support of Eliza Deang, MeeDerby’s new Chief of Staff. Additional promotions are Sue Jagan, who as Associate Director and Executive Recruiter will oversee our offshore team, and Kamille Chilcutt who has been elevated to Executive Recruiter. Lastly, Lauren Fenech is joining us as Recruiter.
2023 was a record year for MeeDerby with over 12% YOY growth across all sectors of staffing. 50% of our work was Executive level search with increased demand from Private Equity along with succession planning from Founder led firms. Last year we started a division focused on individual contributors and saw significant demand for sales and sales leadership. In a year that the industry was down approximately 10%, we are proud that MeeDerby experienced significant growth.”

Kim Whiteley has been promoted to President.
Kim brings more than 20 years of staffing industry and search experience to MeeDerby. She leads the day to day operations of MeeDerby supporting the team in placing managers and executives in the staffing industry. Kim is active with the American Staffing Association (ASA), participating in the Women in Leadership Council, The Mentor/Mentee Program, former Chair of the Direct Hire Council and a 2023 advisor to the Women’s Business Colloraberative’s (WBC) Staffing Workstream. Kim is active in her community as a board member with SHIP (Student Homeless Initiative Partnership), is a high school dive coach and a committee member of BoyScout Troop 278. Prior to joining MeeDerby, Kim spent 15 years with Spherion/Randstad in leadership and revenue driving roles across multiple staffing verticals.
Eliza Deang has been promoted to Chief of Staff.
Eliza joined Mee Derby in 2000 and manages operations supporting the entire MeeDerby ecosystem on a daily basis. She has more than 20 years of experience in the recruitment industry. Eliza comes to Mee Derby from Australia, where she was a Technical Recruiter for an information technology staffing firm for three years. She also has five years’ experience in IT, medical and engineering recruitment in the Philippines. Eliza is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines.
Sue Jagan has been promoted to Associate Director and Executive Recruiter.
Sue has more than 17 years of staffing industry experience. At MeeDerby, Sue focuses nationally placing director level executives and sales professionals in the staffing industry, working with both privately-held and national firms to help increase their geographic footprint and attract senior leadership. Prior to MeeDerby, she spent 11 years with an independent, full service staffing company based in the Washington, DC – Baltimore metropolitan area. Sue was an area leader at Keepers which specializes in serving mid-sized companies in administrative and accounting and finance. Sue is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and recently completed her MBA from Strayer University in June 2023.
Kamille Chilcutt has been promoted to Executive Recruiter.
Kamille has a decade of experience in the staffing industry. She comes to MeeDerby having spent most of her career working in temporary staffing and most recently as an Area Manager with LSI Staffing in the Kansas City market. Kamille has experience recruiting across multiple verticals including industrial, accounting and finance, and office/administrative. She focuses on staffing Commercial Branch Managers, Business Development Managers and Recruiters in the Staffing Industry. Kamille is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University – Go Bearcats!
Lauren Fenech has been brought onto the team as a Recruiter.
Lauren Fenech comes to MeeDerby with 3 years of experience in executive placement, has conducted over 2,000 professional candidate interviews, and is proud to have placed multiple women into leadership positions. Lauren previously worked as an account executive in employee benefits for five years, where she handled all things health insurance and helped organizations streamline their benefit processes through technology. She focuses on staffing Commercial Branch Managers, Business Development Managers and Recruiters in the Staffing Industry. Lauren obtained her bachelor’s degree in human resources from Grand Valley State University. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys adventures with her family. She enjoys making memories through travel, cooking, music, staying active, spending time outside, and catching a football game. Lauren is dedicated and passionate about staying in a positive mindset. She enjoys inner ‘soul work’ through the practices of breathwork and meditation.
Robin Mee has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Robin Mee is the Founder and CEO of MeeDerby, the leading search firm for the Workforce Solutions ecosystem.
