Going far beyond just providing a holiday party or sending out a thoughtful holiday message, Tardy suggests we work to make ourselves more aware of the holidays outside of our own and the harmful effects that such unawareness may have with inclusivity in the workplace and recruitment.
There are many holidays to keep in mind and it may feel cumbersome but Tardy asserts that “by wholeheartedly embracing shared humanity and honoring diverse histories, you’re crafting more than just vibrant workplaces. You’re nurturing spaces where there is no place for harm, and understanding, respect, and unity thrive.”
