In the spirit of the end of the year, Linkedin has selected their word of the year, as covered by Laura Hilgers in the most recent Linkedin Talent Solutions blog post, “Our 2023 Word of the Year Has Staying Power”

They chose Big Stay.

By that, “it means employees have slowed down on job-hopping and are sticking around.”

With runner ups being, The Great Regret, Rage applying and Lazy girl job, Hilgers goes on to discuss why Big Stay “may actually be a good thing” and how they came to this conclusion.
