According to a recent study conducted by Spencer Stuart, “specific professional skills are driving director recruitment, but diversity of gender, race or ethnicity, and LGBTQ+ remains a key consideration for boards.”

The report found that the percentage of new directors who were women remained the same as last year: 46 percent of appointments. This was a 92 percent increase in 10 years and 15 percent over the past five years.”
