Staffing Industry Analysts have put together a vast report on “Women in Leadership in the U.S. Staffing Industry.” Among its findings, women do appear to hold the majority of internal staffing roles but are still underrepresented in executive and board member roles. Women of color are even less represented in these same roles.

Smaller firms typically have better representation of women in executive level positions but as the firms grow in size, the representation exponentially decays.
