Here at MeeDerby, we have just come off a fantastic first quarter. One thing we have noticed in the current market is the gap in talent and difficulties with internal hiring.

The current labor shortage is something we are trying to address. According to the latest seasonally adjusted U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for February 2023, the number of unemployed persons per job opening remains at 0.6. In other words, the number of open jobs surpasses the number of candidates nearly 2 to 1. As we continue to experience market contraction, our clients in the staffing industry are having recruitment challenges and we want to help them help bridge this gap.
