American Staffing Association Names Cabin John, Maryland Business Executive to National Leadership Role
Cabin John, MD, February 9th, 2022— Kim Whiteley, Vice President of Mee Derby & Company Inc., headquartered in Cabin John, MD was recently appointed chairman of the American Staffing Association’s search and placement section council. ASA is the professional trade association of the $161 billion U.S. staffing and recruiting industry.
In this role, Whiteley will work with ASA and its board of directors to spearhead programs and services that meet the search and placement sector’s needs within the association. ASA section councils are composed of member volunteers who advise the association on sector-specific issues and design programs to meet the unique business challenges faced by those sectors of the staffing industry.
Kim brings more than 21 years of staffing industry and search experience to MeeDerby. Kim is active with the American Staffing Association (ASA), participating in the Women in Leadership Council, The Mentor/Mentee Program, former Chair of the Direct Hire Council and a 2022 advisor to the Women’s Business Colloraberative’s (WBC) Staffing Workstream.
