“The unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7 percent in August. The number of employed persons increased as the number of unemployed persons decreased, and the size of the labor force also increased.” The private sector and Government jobs saw an increase, though this may be in-part due to the upcoming 2020 Census seeing an increase in temporary employees.
