Mee Derby specializes in placing Executives, Managers,
Salespeople, and Recruiters in three industries: Staffing Services,
Professional Services, and Human Capital Management. There are five
ways to engage our search services, as follows:
Contingency
Mee Derby sources qualified candidates to fill open job orders and
charges a placement fee only when our client company hires the candidate.
The fee is paid by the employer. If the fee is paid when due - usually
10 calendar days from the start date - Mee Derby guarantees the
placement for a period of time, by refunding a portion of the fee
based on the date of falloff and the terms of the signed Fee
Agreement. Contingency recruiting gives companies access to
top talent which they pay for only when a successful hire is made.
Partial Retained
Mee Derby conducts a search process to find qualified candidates
to fill open job orders and charges a portion of the placement fee
as a retainer up front. The balance is due once the hire is made.
Partially retained searches are for higher level positions and require
Mee Derby to conduct more research and commit more resources.
Retained
Mee Derby conducts an exclusive retained search and is typically
paid in thirds: signing of retainer contract, submission of a short
list of candidates, and hiring of candidate. Retained search is
geared to finding senior level executives. This model of executive
search requires significant consulting time and resources to identify
bona fide candidates.
Outsourced Recruiting
Mee Derby functions as the recruiting department for a company.
Fees are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Compared to in-house
recruiters, Mee Derby has many more recruiting contacts, significant
search expertise, and takes full responsibility for the results.
The advantage to the company is that they focus on their core business,
while Mee Derby does the recruiting.
Contract
Mee Derby provides a Specialized Recruiter or Consultant under contract
to work on premises at the client company, or at Mee Derby, or at
their home office. Usually, the contract recruiter has hiring goals
to fill a certain number of positions in a set period of time. Mee
Derby bills hourly for the contractor's time and treats them as
an employee.
