Professional Services
These are companies providing professionals working under contract (non-perm) either hourly or fixed-price. Examples are Alliance Consulting and Princeton Information Systems.

Human Capital Management
As staffing firms expand into more HR consulting, they enter the new arena of Human Capital Management. Companies like Spherion and Administaff are providing workforce solutions that include recruiting, staffing, payroll services, benefits administration, outsourcing, and technology. These are the goods and services that HR departments purchase, such as training, benefits, staffing, software, e-cruiting, and vendor management systems.
