What types of positions do you hire for?

The majority of Mee Derby searches are for executives and managers in staffing and the workforce solutions ecosystem. We only work with candidates with staffing experience.

Do you also find jobs for salespeople or recruiters?

Sometimes we do. It often depends on the level of position and geographic locations. We work with staffing industry professionals with an average of 5-30 years of staffing experience. Send your resume, or give us a call, and we will discuss your credentials, background and experience. Together we will determine if it makes sense for us to work together.

What do I need to do to start the process of working with Mee Derby?

Simply contact one of Mee Derby’s recruiters.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when contacted about it? Is it alright to turn it down?

Of course – not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in exploring a position, feel free to decline. We will continue to contact you regarding other jobs based on your skills and preferences. Additionally, you can refer us to someone you know who would be suitable.

How can I stay informed about open positions?

Review the jobs portion of the Mee Derby website. We keep our jobs updated, and the site gives good details about all opportunities. You can then submit a resume or contact Mee Derby for additional information.

I’ve submitted my resume online. When can I expect to hear from you?

When in doubt, give us a call! We attempt to respond to every resume within a few days of receipt. If you don’t match a particular job, we should let you know, but will keep your resume for future opportunities. Your resume will be kept in a confidential database and will never be sent to our clients without your approval. Your resume is safe with us!

You sent my resume to a client some time ago, but I haven’t been notified of any interviews.

If we presented you on a search, you should get feedback. Contact your recruiter directly if you are waiting for information.

I had an interview through Mee Derby, but I didn’t get the job. What’s next?

Our goal is to give you constructive feedback from your interview. We will provide you what we understand to be accurate information. As your career advisor, we aim to create mutual trust to aid and guide you in your job transition.

What is the best way to keep in touch?

Phone, email, LinkedIn, our contact us form or text—we respond to all methods of communication. Call us old-fashioned, but we really like to talk on the phone!
